Grade 1 - $30.13/hour (18+) | $24/hour (17) | $20 (Under 17)

Available Hours - Up to 42 Weekday Hours + 10 Sunday Hours between two holiday casuals.

Please let us know your availability through the holidays!

What is a Gamemaster?

A Gamemaster's role includes the greeting, briefing, running and debriefing of teams through their adventure as well as the cleaning resetting of the room once the team has left. There are additional cleaning as well as other duties that are required in order to facilitate the running of escape rooms.

What are we looking for in our Gamemasters

1. Excellent verbal and written communication - It is essential a Gamemaster cab communicate clearly with teams.
2. Confidence and Enthusiasm - A Gamemaster's job is to facilitate fun! The best way to do this is to be confident and enthusiastic and work to create a fun workplace environment.
3. Organisation and Time Management - It is essential for a Gamemaster to stay on top of their workload. Lots of teams will arrive significantly early or late and by being on top of resetting the room and getting groups started we can reduce how much it impacts the rest of the day.
4. Attention to Detail - It is a Gamemaster's job to return a completed activity to a ready state, and that it is reset with no mistakes to ensure every group receives the same, high quality experience.
5. Proficiency with Technology - We use a variety of different types of software. Being able to quickly pick up the different systems will be a great help to performing the role effectively.
6. Reliability - Being able to show up on time and on site when rostered on is critical!

What we offer for our Gamemasters

We are governed by the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award (MA000080). Depending on the role we are hiring for, the position will likely fall under Grade 1 or Grade 2.

For school holiday casuals there is the opportunity to be kept on for shifts through the year though this is not guaranteed and largely depends on staffing through school term!
